I am so happy, back on snow, its true I am made to be on snow. It was amazing, felt so good. Beautiful morning driving up to cornet peak and seeing the early morning sun coming up, purple and pink sky! The snowy crisp air, clicking into my skis. We skied for 5 hours straight it was crazy, Im tired now but it feels good to be back on snow.
As Travis says in Thats it Thats all, its in there some where you just need to keep spinning and it will all come back. I just put my skis on and went for it and just let my self feel the passion flowing back into my body. It was always there just needs to be back in its place!
Good vibes from the team too. Trevor, Seth, Chris and everyone else are ready to go. Im rooming with Kaylin,Hailey and Jessica and we are already making great meals and laughing a lot. I brought my bike so I am going to go for a little spin. I am so excited to be skiing. Of course Im still missing one thing, my side kick. He’s in Turkey about to kick some butt so Cheer Kevin on! So Im all ready to go. In LA about to get on a 13 hour flight to Auckland. Keely is trying to get me to take an Ambien but Im not sure Ill make it off the plane. I think Im too big to carry……
My day started great, went on a Mt bike ride to get the last of summer in, biked through a couple miles of cow shit since they let the cows on the trail. That was interesting or just dirty. But the view was amazing and the early morning sun was a perfect goodbye. Sarah came over to make sure that I was packed and ready to go, Seppi picked me up and took me to the airport where I got to meet my dad and say bye! ( I had an amazing dinner with him and my Auntie Linda last night) I will miss home but its time to go ski!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got all the bags checked in, had Jamba Juice in Denver and got a taxi to Whole foods in LA so I could get a good healthy meal before I head down under.
I feel good, happy, strong. I know what Im doing and Im ready to do the thing I was born to do. Hope you are all having fun and doing something you love too! Happiness I want to hear happiness!!!!!!!!!!!
