Tewntyten rings
So I am in Whistler…… did you expect that? I didn’t, but you know what I am stoked to support my teammates and watch a few races. Its raining right now and its kinda hard to get motivated, but I need to stay positive, this is not my olympics and its going to be sweet and there are a lot of kids on the team that are going to rock it! I am going to breath and have a good dinner and get my stuff together and hopefully I wake up tomorrow and its way better. I want good vibes, I want to work with people and help people and give good energy so I must just need some sleep.
Here are a few photos of the last days….. Lindsey looking hot and girls visiting Jackson!!!!!! I miss skiing!
Have fun Resi, and bring back lots of good crazy memories!!!

Resi,
I haven’t seen you in ages and you may not even remember me. I am a friend of your Mom’s from Santa Barbara. You may also remember my son TJ. He says hi. I wanted to know if you were competing at Whistler. Please say hi to your Mom for me. Wow you sound so mature. Everyone is growing up so fast. Send her email to the above email. address

Resi
I had the privilege of setting some of the first few courses you ever skied — on Casper at the NASTAR race arena. Walter Kirby was the Race Crew head and I was an employee of his until I became the head guy for all competition on the Mountain. Pepi was our boss and commanded respect exactly like he still does. I will never forget the day that your mom and Pa-both good friends of mine — showed up late in the afternoon with you in tow. I was embarrassed by the depth of the ruts in the warm spring weather and suggested to Joe that maybe it was not safe for you at age about 7. BIG MISTAKE! Pepi wanted nothing of my advice and sent you down the trashed out course. You made the first 5 gates then straight-lined out the rest of the course until down on the flats where you took an old fashioned fat flex gate in the face. I skied down and you were screaming. Pepi and Carrie took their time getting to you. a I later heard you went to the clinic for a check-up. I asked your mother how you were doing and she said ” Resi did not speak for 24 hours then her first words were I A NEVER GOING SKIING AGAIN”. You might remember the solid impact you took that day. WE are all glad that you reconsidered and kept skiing and racing. Best wishes on your WC comeback!
