Racing around Europe, Painting nails Electric blue, Spring skiing, no gloves, not hat, SPF high and smiles on, New Crystal jewelry project! Salt pools, tea in bed, wood floors, rocking out to music, packing, unpacking repacking pre packing, figuring out how to pack trophies, vino and champagne, photos and new gear, so much going on, I love this time of year spring, constant movement and giggles.
Italy is sooooo cool! Especially when its beautiful spring racing weather and a new place! Europa Cups in Paganella were the perfect spot! The cutest family run hotel with adorable Italian women running around perfectly put together. I am obsessed with the Italian fashion, how easy and simply they do things yet how elegant and unique they make it. They own it for sure! Tea sent up to the room, local wine, shopping for vintage rock rings and of course racing! It was a great little get away. The view from the top was of Lago di Garda and I was pretty much flying off to dreamland from there. I have a bad habit of almost jumping ship and running away to travel the world and dance around romantic places!

Had a great couple days training in Bormio Italy and feel like I had some break through skiing. Its always good to get some great training in and the weather and food were amazing. Now reorganizing for the next month of non stop racing! Love it!

Got to have a ski date with Lasse and man he is ripping. So crazy how fearless these kiddies are. Takes them a week or two to get the the next level of fearlessness. Loving it. Took some runs down the course and his tuck is better than mine. Mamma Sarah has taught him well! Its very scary to ski around these big resorts with the little ones. People zooming around like crazy. Between Fed Sarah and I we managed to get him down safely but I do understand why the US is so strict on “SLOW” skiing areas. Sketchy! It was such a great couple weeks at home and racing in the US. I want to keep that positivity and excitement going. I am bummed a couple team mates are staying back in the US to do some other races but hope they rip it and get their butts back to europe so I have some buddies! Always hard to be away on the road all the time. I always miss my love and wish I had billions to fly my friends around and travel with me but thats just not reality so instead its a mission to explore and adventure solo!
Our next trip is to Andorra. I am so excited for the next part of racing because I think we are going to be moving around a lot more and going to awesome places. Will Brandenburg was on my first flight in the US on his way to Russia and we go to Andorra which is a new country for me. So we are all over the world ready to conquer. I love going to new places, new sights and new experiences. Its going to be fun!
As for my new addiction. Kevin got me an IPhone for christmas and it may have taken me a while to ditch the box but I totally can’t stop using the camera. How did it take me this long to get one?? I need to download some more photo apps or else Sarah is going to kill me for using the “antique” look to often. It definitely makes it easy to shoot all the little bits from our travels
Such a great week. It was amazing. I had a great week off at home with family and found myself a bit and then headed to Vail to race some Nor-Ams where I did really well. I am sooooo happy. I got my first win in a GS Nor-Am and the skiing was just beautiful. The sun, the snow the people, all the love from all my coaches, my man, family, team mates and all my peps back home in Jackson really helped me get through some tough times and its coming out really well. Its for sure something to believe in. I will never stop believing. The people who push you and the people who stand by you and make sure you are supported are the most important ones! Thanks to you all a million times!
